anybody who earns money has to pay taxes on the money they earn. there's no way out of that here in the USA.
They are suppose to but every foreign employee that works for my husband claims 10 dependents. Some have no kids or 1 or 2 kids. 10 dependents allow for no taxes to be paid, if they get audited they are working under fake name so they change their name to another fake name. He has cut his number from 26 to 1 of illegals & 2 legal with real green card.
For tax purposes, an alien is an individual who is not a U.S. citizen. Aliens are classified as nonresident aliens and resident aliens. IRS Publication 519 will help you determine your status and give you information you will need to file your U.S. tax return. Resident aliens generally are taxed on their worldwide income, the same as U.S. citizens. Nonresident aliens are taxed only on their income from sources within the United States and on certain income connected with the conduct of a trade or business in the United States.

Once you get a green card, you automatically become a U.S. tax resident and you must declare your entire income to the U.S. government.
Yes. My dad's working on a green card and sure as hell has to pay taxes.
sure they do....you will need to fill out a 1040 of some sort. My husband came here on a b2 visa, and paid taxes from day one.
green card or work visa doesnt matter, they still pay taxes, and social security,,
Yes. I have been paying taxes since i got my first temporary work permit 20 years ago. You need to get on the program. :)
By law, yes. Tax is based on 1) source of income (the US) and 2) residency while making income (the US).
