It feels like it here. Everytime we argue on how much illegal immigration cost us, they turn around and yell at us for wasting our money on the war. Well we were stupid enough to indirectly vote for the war, via Bush. We deserve to lose that money, although I think we should get our moneys worth and have a few more Bush people in Prison. We don't want our money to go to illegal immigrants though.
Yes I can, the whole world is greedy in some form and America has a lot. A lot that was earned thru hard work on someones part, and people that dont have much want in on it. They should have it, but they need to earn it not have it handed to them. We cant all be CEO's but we can make a good decent living if we want to work hard. You sound like a Xenophobe. Probably watched too much CNN's Lou Dobbs lately. What you say doesn't make any sense. Why would Mexico get any money from the US, by their not spending it on the Iraq war?
"Univision" is a Spanish language news channel. You probably don't even understand Spanish at all, and you misunderstood what they said. And remember, not to defend Mexico or anything, but they'll always have a say in whatever the US does, because the US long ago took a large portion of the Mexican territory (California, Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, parts of Nevada, Colorado, Wyoming) by an unjustified expansionist war that many people didn't agree with, including president Lincoln.
And most Americans have been brainwashed into believing Mexico "willingly sold" the territory, when the truth is, its territory was snatched by the USA, after an illegal war. There was of course, a RIDICULOUS "compensation" paid by the US for the territory, precisely to make it appear as an agreement. If an invading force kills most of your army, occupies your capital (Mexico City) and forces you to sit down and sign an "agreement" to take half of your territory under total duress, otherwise occupying your country indefinitely, what do you do?
The USA wouldn't be as powerful and great as it is now if it wasn't for that huge chunk of territory taken from Mexico. Except for Florida, the most beautiful and successful area of the US is precisely that which originally belonged to Mexico.
Mexicans, as long as they are not given back the territory the US took from them by force, will always justifiably hate Americans, and when they see a similar thing happening elsewhere (US invading and occupying another country --Iraq--, with no justification whatsoever, and against the will of the rest of the world) they naturally feel bad about it, because historically they know what it feels like to be invaded by a foreign army with no legitimate reason other than the self-serving expansionist goals of the invading force.

The only time it was ever put on hold is when a former C.I.A. freelancer, Saddam Hussein, proved a bigger threat than both factions put together. Once he was killed, the two factions got right back to business; wiping each other out along with anybody who gets in their way, which means US (There's the U. S. again)
In the meantime, five million gallons of oil disappear from Iraq's storage tanks every day, the oil companies continue to make record profits, slowed down only by the fact that we can't refine the crude fast enough to pump into our SUVs. Haliburton is making so much profit that it is moving it's national headquarters to Kuwaitt, and the only thing the Bush family makes more money on than oil, is the sale of textbooks, driven by a scam perpetrated in Houston Texas, under the guise of "No Child Left Behind!"
