My bf is in jail he may get deported is there a way for him not to get deported?
Answer:
If he is here illegally, then this felony charge should bring that to light and yes he should get deported.
If he is here legally, then he should still be deported since he was a guest of our country. Even if he was trying to obtain citizenship, he blew his chance. My vote would be to send him back and allow someone else in that doesn't have the tendency to commit felonies.
Sorry, but I am not much help.
Got a Felony not to worry, he is not going anywhere.
If he is a convicted felon, hopefully he will get sent back. We have enough of our own.
You have an illegal + a criminal for a boyfriend? Tell me what is wrong with this picture?
marry him?
This is a tough one...
In many cases, the DHS Judge gives him the option of serving out his sentence here, or being deported as a free man with no chance of re-entry.
You never said whether he was here legally or illegally. If he is here legally with a visa, he may be under consideration for deportation after serving out his sentence because he abused his visa (it is not a right) status. If he serves his sentence with good behavior, and the Judge feels he is reformed, he may get a lucky break (it's all up to the Judge) and be allowed to stay. Most likely if this happens, he will have probation until his Resident Alien status is considered.
I wish I had better news for you.
why are you still dating him? he's a felon!
anyway, if he is wanted for something in the states (or wherever you are), he will serve his time there. after that, he might get deported if he is there illegally, which he should. what did he do?
i hope they deport him.
let me know what state and i will even write to the congressperson to help get him deported.
we don't want criminals like this here in this country.
he does not deserve to be in this country.
i know all you care about is getting some dick in you but relax, there are more guys out there for you.
HAHA, NOPE HE'S GETTING DEPORTED AND HE DESERVES IT.
What did he do?
The chances are slim for your boyfriend, sorry.
my cousin married her man in a rush, now he's not gettin' deported. But he wasnt a felon. Not to be mean but if he f*cked up, he deserves it. I only think the ones that come here to BETTER themselves deserve a chance
Look, I don't think he should be here if he is an illegal immigrant and thats the feeling im getting with that question. hes not the first to jump the border, but im glad hes getting deported if hes illegal. so, either you go to mexico with him or say bye-bye.
Repeat after me:
Buh-Bye.
^
Set your sights kind low, I would say. Dump this loser, move on and chalk this mess up to a lesson learned.
Sweetie, your BF is a felon! I'm thinking "immigration" may not be your biggest problem.
After he serves his time for the felony they'll deport him right back to where he belongs. There's nothing you can do about it. Depending on the nature of the felony, and his prior criminal record, he might never be allowed to come back to the United States, not even as a visitor.
On the other hand. If you are of good character you can probably go back to his country and live there with him. You will probably have to get married to him in order to do it, but it's an option for you to think about.
No problem.
He's about to do 20-Life.
Worrying about deportation is the least of your worries.
LMAO- Moron.
If you were to hear this story from some one would you not think .Why should they let him stay.He came to this country for a better life and blow it.Well people don't what the likes of him in there country because it cost to much to keep him here.He is in jail that cost to keep him there .He has no job that cost them.He most likely will keep going back to jail that cost They have there own in jail to sport. He should go home so he can cost his own people to care for him in there own jails
keep him here with AN appeal AGAINST DEPORTATION...IF HE IS FOUND GUILTY OF THE FELON, APPEAL. APPEAL for as long as you can and then, if you two were planning to get married, get married while he is in jail or if he goes to prison. DON'T MARRY HIM SPECIFICALLY TO KEEP HIM HERE BECAUSE THAT IS AGAINST THE LAW. YOU may be asked to show some proof that you two really love each other. THAT is what you can do IF YOU REALLY LOVE HIM, BUT my best advice
is , THANK GOD FOR HELPING YOU GET RID OF HIM. HE WILL ALWAYS BE TROUBLE...unless you KNOW FOR A FACT that he is being railroad or in order words if you know that he is INNOCENT AND SOMEONE IS DELIBERATELY FRAMING HIM then it's o.k to "stand by your man" but if you know he is really a crook, than keep THANKING GOD FOR DOING SOMETHING FOR YOU that you couldn't or wouldn't do for yourself.
GOOD LUCK on whatever you decide.
Nope, no way, sorry.
You should consult this case with immigration attorney. I do not think you can solve this issue by yourself. I hope he can stay with you and please disregard ignorant comments.
dont be daft people this is a troll post
your obviously some stupid teen age girl.
He broke the law in the USA. We don't want him here. If he wanted to be here so badly, why would he break the law?
