Sentrynox my friend - i am surprised you havent realized this previously - the immigration has always been tied to the highway - without the immigration issues resolved in favor of guest workers we cannot have them on the highway
This immigration issue wont go away until it is passed one way or the other - it is necessary for the highway and the NAu to exist
The same thing with the socialized medicine issue - without it - canada will not be in the NAU either
Will we survive wihtout either country being part of a NAU - yes - will they survive once our dollar collapses - that remains to be seen - i would tend to say yes but I am unsure of what the cost will be for that survival
Both countries are tied to us - i seriously doubt if either country has expansive trade agreements with other countries besides the US - so when the depression hits us it will devastate them as well
Personnaly I hope its true - I hope the port program goes down the tubes - i dont think it will - i think it will be rehashed, renamed, represented and it will eventually become accepted - just as i believe the immigration stuff will be acceptted as well rather then turning them into a state

It may also means, that the whole plan for Mexican Amnesty is directly related to the North American Union project... But don`t count on them to back off, they will find another way to reach their goals, those are just more determined than anybody could imagine... I guess now, they will take a lower profile approach to reduce suspicions on their intentions, so must keep an eye on the small stuff they try to pass under the radar! You know, its summer time, and many stop following the news while on vacations, so its the best time for them to do those things under the nose of everybody, and the next best shot they will have will be just before Christmas... Edit: To jimkearney746, I do have notice the trend, but did want to show this as evidence to others. I do agree with you, and can see most of their plan, and they will surely not backoff!! As for buying gold, I can advise you to begin now until August, most speculators are in vacation,and price don`t moves too much... As for me, I go with platinum...;)
