Can non us citizens fly internally in the US without a passport?
Answer:
Should not be a problem. But airlines do require some form of id. Non-US issued id's, other than passports, would not be considered. So, if there is any form of American id (like driver license) or foreign passport, it is fine.
I don't think so. No one asks me for a passport when I fly domestically.
No. because they wouldn't be able to provide a valid I.D to the airlines
no they need their passport
we all are suspect now...doesn't matter if your american or not.
you need to have a passport.
you can't go anywhere in the US today without a passport! if you don't have on then i would get one!
You'd need a US government ID or drivers license. I'm guessing this hypothetical person would not have that, so they wouldn't be going anywhere..
why sure they can. not legally of course but they can decide to do so. there are probably lots of ways to beat the system. (not meant to encourage you)
may i ask how in the first place did the non US citizen fly to US without a passport??if they have no pass they can not fly within US unless they have a drivers license from US
Yes, as long as you have your other valid ID issued by State. If you have drivers licence or State ID then yes. If you don't have any other valid picture ID - then no, bring your passport. When you fly domestically they ask for valid State ID. They don't ask if you are a US citizen or if you are on a visa or anything else like that. Note that a student ID or an employee card is not good enough.
Probably, passports are only checked on the inbounds from foreign countries, as long as they had other valid ID.
Of course not. Non U.S. citizens needs VISA to be able to fly across U.S. and other foreign countries and you could not get a visa without passport.
I don't know but I do know that even U.S citizens need some form of legally recognized photo ID to fly now so I would assume you need to use your passport.
If you have a valid ID, then yes. If you have one, a green card would work, or any photo id. Domestic flights do not check citizenship or anything. I have never had to show more then driver's license.
Yes, because passports are not required at all to travel domestically.
Yes. The kicker is that you must present two pieces of identification with your photograph on them.
Sometimes, though, I get by with just one; but, why take the chance?
The bigger question, though, is how a non-citizen came to America without a passport!
you have to have valid photo id and so you would have to have a valid passport to travel.
don't know have never flown......... call airlines and ask them ......oh_hell
They can file internally once they have a valid US id for eg. a state id or a drivers license, green card. You don't need a passport.
