Americans should have to apply for anywhere in the world and wait the standard 17-24 years for a visa just like they require for USA.

Hey, as long as you have cash, in Mexico you can do anything you want, even if its illegal. Money there will get you favors, get you out of jail, provide you with drugs, the gov't will eat out of your hand and you will be treated like a king, that is until the money runs out. This sounds like two different issues. Americans don't go to Mexico to find work. Americans go to Mexico to spend money & they are more than happy to come home again. The government of Mexico doesn't want to make it too difficult for us to visit, they know we could just as well go elsewhere with little difficulty! When the Illegals come here, they come to take as much as we will provide for them & they don't want to go home, ever. Big difference!
The Mexicans want to come to the US and complain when they're not given special treatment. Let me tell you, the Mexicans treat the immigrants from other countries who want to enter Mexico, as if they were criminals. They are absolutely nasty with them. Ask the Guatemalan people. The same Mexicans that cry and beg for a visa to the US, treat those people like trash if they want to go to Mexico. No foreigner ever can get a job with the Mexican government even if he naturalizes. Not only that, at least one his parents has to be Mexican. It's sickening..
