First of all make sure you leave before your visa expires. You cannot change your visa or apply for another type of visa in country. You can either apply for an extension to your visa - or do what most people do & MARRY the guy!!!
Go home for a month then re-apply for ,visa as soon as you go home.
If Foreign Office knows you are a good person/willig and Will work,everything should be ok(why not take the person out with u?
