im just wondering this because fiancee visa it takes less time and i had seen ppl who had gone to the states thru this and idnt got marry. my boyfriend and I will get marry next april and we do want to do things officially and legally. we want things to work right and good.

Friends of mine did this, he's American married to a Brasilian. It did take quite a while and a good bit of money. Make sure that you follow directions and show up everytime they tell you to. In the long run it was totally worth it for them. Now she doesn't have to worry about going home to Brasil and not being allowed to leave to return to her husband.
