How dare ANY OF US call ourselves LEGAL citizens & label others as ILLEGAL?

I am not Native American.I am American Indian EasternBand Cherokee/Oglala Lakota..if not for the help of the Indian people many of the europeans would have perished...in returned.Indians were treated worst than animals.murdered,graves robbed, food stolen,...this is part of what they got in return for having a good heart it got worst as time went on..I don't call myself "Native American"...because anyone born in this country is called Native American...I am American Indian and we have been here for thousands of years!

That is just so silly. When the pilgrims came here there was no national infrastructure in place by which anybody could have immigrated here legally or illegally. The vast lands that now comprise the USA where not very populated. When their population expand, most creatures migrate to areas less populated. Same thing when the native Americans migrated here from Asia several thousand years ago and bringing the buffalo population to near extinction.

When the early settlers came here it was to escape religious persecution. Today and since July 4th 1776 (ring a bell??) we are a soverign nation. Persons entering our country without the written consent of our country are doing so ILLEGALLY! Hence the term "Illegal Aliens". We have borders. Just try to enter another country, say mexico and see what happens when you get caught. Ever been in a mexican jail? They will not return the favor of turning a blind eye to someone violating their soverignty.

As for my ancestry, I'll fill you in. I'm 1/4th to 1/8 Native American and the European part of my genetics has been in this country since the 1600's.
My family isn't to sure about who my grandfather is because grandma got busy with a WW2 soldier and he never came back. We do know he was from the reservation not to far from where she lived.
A very large portion of Americans have Native blood. But ya know what, it means squat. What is important is the fact we have a stable government with valid LAWS. No matter how you slice it illegal immigrants are breaking the law. PERIOD.
