Poland citizenship?

My boyfriend and I were discussing our heritage earlier and he brought this point up. He believes that technically I have citizenship in Poland despite being born in the US. I don't think I do, though.

My grandmother & grandfather on my mom's side were both born in Poland and came to the US in 1943. They had my mother in the US: who, in turn, had me.

Do I or don't I have citizenship?

Answer:
Maybe you have the right to have the dual citizenship. Contact the Polish Consolate in your town.
