Should Firms Hire Illegal Immigrants?
In the past there have been many laws that do not fit in with what many regard as moral, such as the laws of Nazi Germany. Therefore, should firms follow their own sense of morality or should they submit themselves to the state? If you had a firm operating in Nazi Germany and you had the ability to break the law and help innocent people, would you do it?

In my opinion any company who hires illegal immigrants should be confiscated by the government and sold to the highest bidder with the CEO going on trial with a penalty of five years in prison with no chance for early release or parole for EACH illegal who was on their payroll. EVERYONE in their HR department should get 10 years for each illegal.
Pass my law and there wouldn't be a job for an illegal anywhere in the nation.

No firm should be able to willingly break any immigration laws. They should be exposed for what they are and fined.
Unfortunately no American companies care about the morality of the laws than govern them. They only care about the bottom dollar. If aliens are the cheapest labor than that's who they'll want to hire.
Not only should they not hire them, but also be fine a large amount if not have their doors close.
That's exactly what is happening. What rules is the bottomline. The people protesting against illegals themselves don't do it out of noble motives, but because they see their jobs and/or their culture threatened.
We are all selfish. Asking entrepreneurs to be "ethical" when the common person is not is, well, silly.
no illegal should be hired. it is not done on moral grounds,it is a product of greed. the real problem is there is no punishment to companies or corporations. meaningless,insignaficant fines. eliminate the demand and there will be no supply.

It should be illegal for firms to hire illegals, and any companies caught doing so should be heavily fined for a first offense, and shut down upon committing a second offense. All illegals do is depress wages because of their cheap labor, and absorb far more from the system than they could ever contribute.
The employers are giving poverty level wages that can only be subsisted on by access to food stamps for children born here and access to aid to family with dependant children, and 'free' medical care. Their kids are crammed into our already overcrowded schools taught with emergency credentialed teachers on a 'year round' calendar. All of these things WE pay for and our children pay the biggest price with their futures.
There is NO 'moral high ground' for the employers. They know how far they dropped wages to exploit the situation. They just want us to subsidize wages instead of paying them themselves.

I would not turn my back on INNOCENT people - these people are not innocent - they are criminals! This is not Nazi Germany nor is mexico...the illegals are not being persecuted in their country - they merely do not have the pride or backbone to stand up to their government. It's easier to come to our country and steal from middle-class Americans! This is what they are running from - a government that has turned it's back on them.... and unfortunately, their actions are causing our country to turn it's back on middle-class Americans - all for money & illegal votes!

No they shouldn't. Its not about morals for these people. Its about money. Making as much as they can and paying their employees as little as possible. I doubt any of them hire illegal immigrants because they think they are good, innocent people.
By the way, illegal immigrants aren't innocent. They broke the law.
