I an 18 year old Jordanian, and have always dreamed of officially being a British citizen I grew up in Glasgow Scotland, and have always Identified the UK as my real home. I heard that British passports aren't given if your not originally British. Is this true? Thanks.

If you are legally resident and settled in the UK and have been so for a minimum of (I think) 5 years you simply need to apply for "Naturalisation".
You will need to complete FORM AN, available from your local Citizens Advice. There is a fee of about £240.00 payable with the completed form.
