Lou Dobbs has a right to report on whatever he likes, just like you have the right to ask such questions (or should I say make such statements.) Yes, there are some people who blur "Mexicans" and "Illegal Aliens". It's not fair, but it happens. I think we should secure BOTH borders, and all of the coastlines. The media should start focusing on the diversity of illegal aliens rather than going the easy route and showing images of Mexicans running across the border.

First off - he has said that Mexico is a part of the SPP that Bush of U.S., Fox of Mexico, and Prime Minister Harper of Canada put together to benefit themselves, and their big interest for the corporate Businesses to benefit as well. Another Bush idea that American taxpayers don't mind footing the bill for the elite.
Second - he said illegal Mexicans who partner up with Businesses and employers who hire them are the reason American wages don't get better for Americans thereby destroying the Middle Class workers in America. And creating an even poorer class among the poor.
Third - he has said that Mexico just happens to be the easiest route for terrorists, as well as any and all illegals to sneak across.
Fourth - Canadians has Americans best interest at heart just as the U.S. has their best interest at heart. Talking of the American and Canadian people, not the governments or at least the few who would screw the people of both countries over.

Sounds like you disagree with him. Before you call him stupid, you should do a little research and make sure your own facts are straight. I have personally walked across the Downtown Bridge into Juarez on many occasions. I do not have a passport, I do not have any special papers, nor was I asked to show any. On my way back, I was asked if I was an American Citizen and once (that's once) I was asked to see my identification! I get my teeth done in Juarez, we buy our coke from Mexico (Mexican Coca Cola is still made with simple sugar, not fructose. That means that your stomach doesn't have to create heat to break it down and you don't get heartburn and gas!) we buy our vanilla from Mexico (They manage to sell it without lacing it with alcohol) Many Mexicans also walk freely over the bridge, to our country. They shop in El Paso, visit family here, and then walk back across to their homes. In case you aren't aware of the fact, they were here before the bridge went up, and may be here after it comes down!
Lou Dobbs and I agree to disagree on a number of items, but I would never be so foolish as to underestimate his intelligence, or his Patriotism. It is painfully obvious that you have gotten most of your information second hand. Mr. Dobbs had several stories about Chinese imports on his show and has featured stories on poisoned toothpaste, fish, pet foods etc. from China for quite some time now. I believe he considers that one of the most important reasons to secure our borders. When you consider that less than one percent of these imports are actually inspected, it starts to sound like he just might have a point there!
