What's the farthest someone has driven to do Minuteman duty on the Mexican border?

Before the latests incident on the border with the armed intruders and the National Guard.We have had people from Florida and from New York join us here in Arizona to take their turn at watching the borders. They must already be or become members before they come here.They just cant "show" up and join in the securing of the border.The Minute Men are not a bunch of trigger happy people looking for trouble.They are patriotic men and women helping do the job that our government wont or cant do.We also have jobs and business but we also give some of our time to protect our nation.
Here in AZ as far as I know, they wont allow Miinutemen to patrol the border, especially now, when border crossers are coming armed and Border Patrol officers have had to shoot and kill some illegal border crossers. They are downplaying the Minutemen so we dont have 5,000 guys with itchy trigger fingers just WAITING for a border crosser. At this point, all we can do is support (clerical, food service etc) No thanks I have to work or I dont eat.
