Why do so many eastern europeans want to come to Britain when there are closer countries they could move to?
Answer:
Because we are a soft touch.
Our benefits system is easier to cheat, our Criminal Justice system in incompetent and doesn't catch them or punish them when they commit crime, and this God awful government turns a blind eye because they know immigrants are more likely to vote Labour in the long run.
PS - How are Zippy and George ?
Their immigration policy is more lenient than other EU countries.
There must be some desirable qualities...easier for them to live there, work there perhaps? I don't know the laws over there...goodness knows we get plenty of immigrants here in the U.S.
Haha because we like english people more than Germans and French.
Payback for the British ex pats (like me) that get the cushy jobs in their home countries.
