Do I qualify so that my fiance can get a green card...?
Answer:
you have the same job with my husband now..working under the table..I came from the other country too..the embassy only ask 16,000 every year in your income not 18,000..they just want to know if you can support her here that"s the reason why they are asking about your W2..but you have a lots of option you can use your assets like your property (house),show how much money you have at the bank..the more money you show the better chances you have. that's what my husband did before..they are only asking your previous year like 2006..if i we're you show all the money you have at the bank and your property..
Go for it, and good fortune.
No
You can find out by checking out www.uscis.gov
your income with assets needs to be 200% of the poverty level or you do not qualify. You can have an additional sponser that will agree to take up financial slack if you become a burden to the state. You must understand that you cannot get welfare at all during the time as a resident alien or you will jeapardize the status of your partner.
think about this...if you hadn't broken the law already, you wouldn't have to worry, would you?
