Why do Libs call people racist when the question of illegal immigration is approached?

Liberals do not, you hear what you want to hear. It is a set up to ask this sort of question. Would be the same as someone saying: Conservatives are a blood thirsty lot. The latter is as wrong as your question.

There is nothing wrong, no matter what people tell you, with standing up against illegal immigration. We are a land of laws and that violates our very nature. So, fight on and continue to keep America the best place in the world.
The libs at the Social Security office where I worked, labeled every hispanic looking person as an illegal. They were the most racist people that I had ever come across.
They are attempting to capture the Hispanic vote.

Thats because Irish, french british, german etc... Illegals are a very very very small percentage of the illegals.. and they generally are higher educated, speak english, commit less crime, etc... more than 80% of all illegals are hispanic. thats justa fact.

I think libs love to hurl that charge because it makes them feel morally superior. They'd give away the whole country to keep from being called racist themselves, so they figure it's a powerful accusation. And it is. Most people are terrified of being called racist.

OK first off the use of libs is racist or stereotype right there as soon as you single out a group or organization it is racist if for instance the question was how do we stop the illegal immigration in this country? that would not be racist it is tackling a problem not a group of people.

That's not entirely true - the only time Bill Clinton ever deported anyone ..it was little Elian Gonzales ..with guns pointed at his tiny head..back to Cuba ..so as not to anger their ol' buddy Fidel after Elian's mother gave her life escaping Cuba , to make a new life for her son in America . I think most criminals ARE liberals------go anywhere there is large scale crime that is sanctioned and you will see an overwhelmingly strong support for the democratic party-----go to the legal brothels of Nevada---the casinos-----anywhere there is betting-----gambling----prosti... or a desire to change or degrade traditional values and you will find they vote democrat..------and this goes for the illegal alien thing----it is against the law the enter our borders illegally----it costs us billions in welfare and causes the need for higher taxation-liberals don't care because they do not understand what is at stake------the whole grand effect if libs have their way will result in a socialistic society where there is no incentive to aspire to achieve excellence since basically the middle class would be pretty much eliminated and you would have the proud----the few-----the ruling class----the elite that controls and leads the masses----------problem is it just doesn't work------what happened to the USSR? Because calling everyone you disagree with a "racist" ends the debate, the same as questioning a death cult gets you labelled "racist" even though the people who belong to it are from all races. It makes them feel mighty and superior, even if they are just mindless drones repeating what they've been told to say. Really, that kind of mentality are the last ones we need running our government, I'd rather have a system where people are judged by their individual merits, instead of our present government that uses racism to divide and reward some people at the expense of others. the US Supreme court itself has called "affirmative action" racist. So ask them if they support affirmative action, then call them "racist" if they do.
Well I'm a definite liberal and I don't call people racist when the question of illegal immigration is approached. It's a total red-herring and I resent anyone of any political or ethnic or racial description pulling the race card out.

That we have over 12 million II's and most are from south of the border is a fact but we also have to consider immigrants from other places. My Irish cousins for example. They are no less immigrant, no less illegal.
Illegal is illegal. There is no such thing as being a little illegal, like there is no such thing as a little pregnant.
If we're going to give warm fuzzy passes to people who break our laws, why not to speeders, litterbugs, hungry people who shoplift, prostitutes?
Mexico doesn't mess around when it comes to people breaking their laws and make it difficult to cross their border in my experience, and yes, I live in a border state.

Mexico has a substantial upper class . . just this week I heard that the average rich person in Mexico City commutes via helicopter! They should take care of their own citizenry; they can easily afford it if they would make the effort, and we, with a trillion dollar war sapping us, shouldn't have to.
And this is the voice of a liberal who knows not just a few other L's who feel the same.

I mistakenly called it racism, too. Actually, the correct word is "bigotry". U.S. businesses that have employed undocumented foreign workers in order to avoid paying U.S. workers a legal and decent wage, committed many crimes, including encouraging the illegal crossing of our borders, the hiring of undocumented workers, and failure to pay the employer's share of withholding taxes and such. That is "criminal" activity. The "bigotry" comes into play in the tolerance of these criminal activities in order to form and maintain a second-class citizenry to exploit.

I have Yahooed long enuf to see no liberal has openly said what you claim HOWEVER, I have seen many a TROLL play the racist card AND many of those trolls ARE openly admitting their illegal status.
