What country was the girl from and how long did you know her? If you used a "marriage broker" well.. you shouldnt have done that.
A K1 Visa is a "fiance" visa. Once the girl is here, she only needs to be married within 90 days and she can then apply for permanent residency status. WHO she marries, the law here does not care, as long as it is an American citizen.

I hate to say it but if she ran off with someone else then she just used you to be able to get here. I had a friend that that happened to & the girl did get to stay. I am hoping that that don't happen to me once & get married to the guy that I am going with.
No, she needs a sponsor and a K-1 visa has an expiration date.
