Guess what now there is a man from a bank in Nigeria threatening my life and my families lives. What now?
Answer:
I live in South Africa and get this type of scam coming through to us all the time. These 2 guys threatening you are usually the same person. The first email that came to you was just fishing, as soon as you replied they knew, 'you were a live one'.
I'm afraid that the problem was your greed got the better of you and that amazing deal you were promised was indeed to good to be true. But you replied anyway and now they have your details and so will try just about anything to get money from you. If they are threatening your life I wouldn't worry, cause it's bollocks, just stop all correspondance. I pushed a few of these situations to see what these guys would do, even ended up with fraudulent cheques and all sorts from a number of different people (mostly Nigerians) and forwarded them to the relevant banks and authorities, along with contact details of the 'scammers'. Nothing has happened, so I guess no one cares or it's too difficult to track.
Maybe you should just grin and bare it and next time someone tells you about an amazing deal you'll think with your brain and not your bank account.
But hey what do I know I'm just another idiot foreigner as you so eloquently put.
u go n shoot them bubba
its a police matter , report it to your local police department. They should pass it to another department if they need assistance with internet fraud , possibly even the FBI or homeland security for terrorist threats.
You can also report it to your ISP or mail provider.
You should contact the Department of Homeland Security.
I recommend that you take full advantage of the 2nd Amendment but seriously dude, I doubt that these idiots would come over here from Nigeria just to blow you away, they make more money on SCAMS, if the come here we could arrest them and show them the boys in prison that are looking for a new girlfriend.
please tell me you did not fall for some scheme that was on the internet? They can threaten you all they want but most likely they can't come here if they are in Nigeria, but print out the emails threatening you or tape them and notify the FBI and Interpol.
This is a company that has a email tracing system.
http://www.postel.co.kr/
It imbeds a tiny 1 pixel pic in the email that has to link to their server to download. This pinpoints the location of the receiver.
Also the FBI has a threats reporting site.

not sure
Did you really need us to tell you that any kind of threat, nowadays Via almost anything is call a "Terriost Threat Act?"
Did you make up that guys name Sayd Bin Laden or is that part of their scare tactic.and how did they find your family.
Something ain't jelling right here??
If you can find them, deep underground somewhere in America, try the A Team! Mind you, one of them is deeper than the others!
Call the Police
I would like to know why they are threatening your life. Could you please tell the rest of the story. Maybe then I could help with an answer. One word POLICE! Add some details so we can all fully understand.
Ignore it.
If only 0.1% of all e-mail messages I receive every day were true, I'd be a multi-trillionare, owned all real estate on Earth 3 times over and had a penis the size of an elephant.
Change your e mail address.
block the email addresses theyre sending from. If theyre phoning up with threats just answer the phone and if its them set the handset on the table and let them talk to the air and run up their phone bill. I take it theyve tried to scam you saying theyve got a lot of money and they need your help to get it out of Nigeria or something like that
I am fed up with Nigerian scams, Nigeria is oil rich but does not have the organisation to translate that into a decent standard of living for Nigerian people.
They can't trace you don't think they can ,but never reply to them. It may be worth phoning the police , make sure to get full headers for the email
******* disorganised chaos losers they are
AJ .thanks for a most amusing post
Don't even open their e-mails just report them as spam and forget about it.
Block them from sending to you and forget about it
You must have fallen for one of the oldest scams in the book for them to bother trying it on was it oil, unpaid monies left over from a contract, trhe need to wash vast amounts of money through a trusted individuals account or what?
AJ it must be you that offered me 25 acres of Mayfair for a pound, 6 million gallons of crude oil going for 25p per barrel and I'll take two of the Boing 747's. Did you want Tower Bridge or Buckingham palace in exchange, you didn't say which??
say can you call me back i'm sh-gging your mother!
