I need to move to Canada?

I am a permanent resident of U.S. I have 2 children born in the U.S. I plan to move to Canada.I have 72 points to apply as a skilled worker. The problem is my wife overstayed her visa in the U.S. However I have submitted a petition to sponsor my wife, which is pending in the U.S. I do not know this will create a problem if I apply as a skilled worker and plan to move with my family from the U.S.

Answer:
Shouldnt be a problem. Not a significant at least. While her petition is pending she has a legal status - "pending adjustment". You actually have a good chance to legilize her in US, but it can take time (Up to 5 years). So ggod Luck, and be patient.
Don't move to Canada. Stick it out here in the US.
