I am filing i-485. Do I have to enclose medical exam report?

Hi,
I am on H1B, filing I-485. Do I have to schedule medical exam and get the report before filing it or should I send the application and then go for the medical exam.

Answer:
Just follow the directions..If a medical report was included, then you need to do the exam and send the results back with the envelope UNOPENED.if you dont do this, they will make you take the exam again...I am sure you dont want to have to pay twice.
Yes, the USCIS will not process your 1-485 without the medical exam report. So the best way, make appointment for medical exam (it is pretty swamp right now because of the visa fiasco). Then send all the document to USCIS including your application for EAD and Advanced Parole (if you have spouse and children, make sure to apply for them too). Good luck.
IF THE INS HAS GIVEN YOU THE LOCATION TO GO FOR THE MEDICAL EXAM THEN GET IT, BUT STILL MAIL IN YOUR APPLICATION FIRST. REMEMBER THEY GIVE YOU A LIST OF DOCTORS TO GO TO. YOU CAN'T JUST GO TO ANY.
