If you have an outstanding traffic citation and you have a warrant for your arrest, you will not be employed by CBP or any other federal agency. Take care of the traffic citation. Even after you are hired by CBP you are obligated to inform your supervisor if you receive traffic citations.
There is no set time regarding how long it takes to get on with CBP. It depends on the score on your written test. The higher the score the sooner they will get to you for an interview. (provided you take care of your citation)
