Why don't people understand that people are Anti-Illegal Immigrant not Anti-Immigrant?

Answer:
Oh they know it alright. A few of them may be charlatans but most are committed to destroying the traditions and values that make America what it is. They want a socialist, anti-Western culture where anything goes and the misery is spread equally across 99% of the population. The top 1% is the elite class of politicians and global business execs.

And of course they will tell you America has always welcomed poor immigrants, blah blah blah... this is just complete bulls... and the illegal wave we're getting is nothing like the ones who built this country.

Anyone who knows American history is completely insulted when illegal Mexicans are compared to our early waves of immigrants.
Because that wouldn't get as good of ratings?
Oh they understand quite well. The goal of liberals is to cloud the issue.
the ones screaming "racist' are playing you...they figure if they scream loud it will silence you...keep up the fight!
It's called knee-jerk liberalism.

When they completely run out anything like a rational argument, they find a reason to call the opposing position 'hateful' or 'racist' or --my favorite-- 'mean-spirited'. The last is usually used as an 'argument' against allowing people to keep the money they earn.
If they can confuse the undecided population that anti-illegal immigration is the same as anti-immigration then they will win the battle in the minds of all the population.
Thank you for pointing out the difference. They lump the two together because no one will support criminal activity but throw racism into the mix and now you have peoples attention.
This is the the result of an agenda being pushed by illegals and their advocates. Most everyone understands that this country was founded on immigration. Through the years, there have been legal means developed to do so, in order to ensure that integration occurs, not just socially, but legally (ie. paying taxes, licensing, vaccination, etc.).

Supporters of Illegal immigrants are pulling the guilt card by twisting the facts of the situation so that it seems THEY are the victims however they always neglect to mention the laws that these people have broken and the severe impact this has on American Society.
Because it's not true.If you read some of the responses on here you will see how SOME say "When I see a Mexican I this or that"Well some Mexicans ARE here legally so how does that justify that type of response?NOT all are here illegally so the people who make that type of response are racist and I can say that in my white glory and not be called a racist Mexican that needs to go back to my country.THIS IS MY COUNTRY.American born bred and proud of it.SO if I want to defend people of other ethnic groups that's my prerogative.
It is the pro illegal's way to attack the view of anti illegals. See, those people that are on the fence about everything might end up on their side if they feel they will be looked at as being against immigrants in general.

Sad that tactics such as that have to be used. I am just against breaking the laws of this nation. I am also against rewarding those that break the law.
By making it sound like people who are Anti-Immigrant are also racist, and haters. If they ever say it the way we often speak of it - as the way it is, and always has been when we speak of it (Anti-Illegal Immigrant) it makes them look stupid, and uneducated since they fail to see the difference.

Besides have you seen some of the answers here in YA Immigration? Some are so uneducated they believe that all immigrants were illegal when they came or arrived here in the 1400, 1500, and 1600s. They believe than other than my Native American brothers and sisters (who were here first) - they argue they were here first and the lands were stolen from them. And since I read an article the other day about Mexico's people - they only have a sixth grade education anyway for the most part. And this is being said not to put them down - but to point out just how uneducated they really are. So anything else they have been told - they soak it up like a sponge, and believe they are being told the truth or facts. Imagine being told for years that an apple was an orange. Then when asking for the orange - you are being told it is an apple. Not only confusing to them, but also - do they believe you or not.
