Depends on whose plan it is. The government's would be to do nothing and pretend they don't exist or lie about the numbers. The plan of the general public is to b*tch and moan about the fact that the government, they voted in or couldn't be bothered to vote out, is doing nothing about it.

Ilegal immigrants should be returned to the first country they arrived in after they left their indiginous land or in exceptional cases thoroughly reviewed before given leave to remain. We have so many illegals here and it is frightening because of the crime attached to them - they get here through crime and bring that lifestyle with them. Do you know if the illegal guy living next to you has a record for murder, rape etc? No, well in the UK neither do the Home Office or authorities - that is why so many are against illegals here.
The UK Government do not know how many immigrants are in the UK. There is a problem now with immigration in this country and I don't think they can control it now. They have recently allowed more and more immigrants to come into the UK, so the answer is 'There is no control.'
By the way the guy living next door to you could just as well be a BRITISH murder and neither you nor the home office would know about it as long as he or she commited the crime outside the UK. And another thing is that not all immigrants are criminals whether they come here to get a better life legally or illegally. Some agency has proposed amnesty although this will probably not happen as the goverment will not agree to it. But we can live in hope. The other thing is that whether you are legal or illegally in the counrty you can apply for citizenship after 14 years...

asbo_arry - could not answer before - I was asleep ! I'm in Sydney now - full of immigrants. I don't just mean the Anglos and Chinese who have been here for generations, I mean the Somalis, Indians, Pakistanis, Afghanis, Italians, Vietnamese...etc. Every prosperous country in the world is a honeypot for young people who want to work, not just Britain.
