If somone fails the US citizenship test twice should they be able to re-take it ?

Answer:
I suppose three times should be max. If that does not help, maybe she should go to school, take English classes and improve her chances of passing. I agree with the governement that if someone wants to be a citizen of US, they need to speak the language. There is plenty of free ESL classes for foreigners in most cities (in public colleges.)
Of course, people change.
They should only be allowed once. Period.
Yes, I guarantee half the US citizens in this country couldn't pass that test.
You gotta be really stupid to fail it. Is that discrimination against stupid people ?
no. fail once and then deport them
Why are they even here if they dont speak enough english.
Lets see. They dont care enough about us to learn the language. But they want to stay here.
NO MORE SCAMMERS and ILLEGALS and BURDENS TO OUR COUNTRY
Fail once and get deported. That should be the law.
If they're that dumb they'd fit in quite well in the US, I reckon.
That is a pretty simple test. Just read the book from the Daughter's of the American Revolution. You dn't have to know much.
Their case should be evaluated by a team consisting of a private investigator, a psychologist, a teacher, a family advocate or member, and a sponsor who is willing to "adopt" the applicant.

Otherwise, just deport the person.
NO..
yes
help her study for it..and yes they should be able to take the test as many times as they'd like...help her learn english, too.
Most Americans couldn't pass it. She shouldn't feel bad. Yes she should be able to take it again. I applaud her for trying. If we all had to take a test to stay here, this would be an empty country people aren't as smart as they think they are, especially when it comes to U.S. history.
Why not? You can retake the Bar exam as often as you want.
If she failed it because she doesn't know enough English, then she should have to take an English course, pass that, then go take the test. We speak English in this country, and none of our businesses should have "press 1" for English. It all should be in English, and if you can't speak it, then you don't need to be here.
What's the use. Like they even care what the 4th amendement is or who is the Vice Prez. They just want to come here and continue the legacy of sucking the taxpayers dry.
Absolutely. If they AREN'T allowed, we're almost INVITING them to become illegals.

I'm TOTALLY against ILLEGAL immigration, but I am all for LEGAL immigration.
Twice is enough. Failing the first time can be understandable because you might not have a clue as to what's on the test. The second time, one should have a clear view as to what is on the test and should be able to pass.
So no, people shouldn't be able to.
Yes they should. However, they should be asked to prove that they have taken the appropriate courses, to able them to pass the test the third time around.
3 strikes she's out!
