I am not from California. But i agree that this survey was probably not accurate. Evidently they did not survey the entire state, because you were not asked anything. they probably asked a total of 5 people. (within their office, who were born in California.) Did they say anything about the accuracy of their research or where they obtained this information? probably not.
The nuts in Washington ( run by big business ) are always digging up some poll to show we want the illegal immigrants here, or we want reform, or that we want amnesty, but we need to keep showing them how we really feel.

I am a Californian opposed to illegal immigration. However, there is no easy solution for the problem. I'd like to find at least 2 news organizations which have matching sources concerning immigration statistics. On the flip side of this, the amount of people you and I know and probably a small percentage of a percent as opposed to the total population of California. Who knows, what was the actual question that was asked?
My fear is that it is too late to save California. I hear it is going down hill fast. Their are too many legals with connections to illegals.

Proposition 187 passed by a landslide and would have barred education and all services to illegals, essentially. It was overturned by the court but not by the voters. Also, I wonder if they limited asking to those here legally to begin with?
I'm from phoenix, & the illegals are rampant here too. I would like to say i speak for the majority & send em back to mexico. . problem is, i'm not part of the majority anymore..possible good news though.,the farmlands are dwindling & new construction is slowing down so maybe they will go back to california..WHOOPS! i forgot, you don't want them there either. uuhh...wait..I've heard that mexicans are gaining acceptance in the midwest. anybody out there from iowa needing cheap labor?
Being since they they started "save our state" and are very active members in the anti movement....I doubt it as well. Guess they just didn't ask the ones that fled out of there because of it. I know tons are very unhappy about it. Plus they just took a vote about covering illegals under a state funded health plan and the majority said no. I suppose because of agriculture etc...there's places that want the labor......but I seriously doubt that poll.
