Did you actually think US would build the wall?
Answer:
I never believed it. It was an obvious "political" sop to those opposed to illegal immigration.
On a side note, I keep hearing "have you never heard of ladders". Sure I have, but I have never seen one lugged through 300 miles of desert. Or seen one work when laid against an "alarmed" fence.
Mark my words. There will NEVER be a wall along the border.
crazy americans, a wall! have you never heard of ladders.
It's the govt's duty to protect it's citizens not create a financial crisis and dangerous environment. Something bad seems to be on the horizon. Everyone should read Nemesis while there's still some small chance of reform.
no that will never happen. besides, building a wall is not the answer.
and like d.l. hughley once said... "if government succeeded in getting all the illegal mexican immigrants deported, who would they get to built the wall then?" haha he was kidding of course, but there is still some truth to his joke if you think about it.
I hope they do, we need to stop this influx of illegal immigration.
I did, and they will. Its the only feasable first line of defense, if it takes private funding to get it done so be it. The minutemen built 10 miles of it that I helped fund and I'll be happy to fund any future projects.
I think bullets are cheaper
No we won't because it makes sense and it's the right thing to do. Can't let that happen...
That's fine. They voted for it overwhelmingly before the election. Let them explain that to us in 2008.
