I was born in Canada and at 18 became a naturalized American citizen....can I regain my Canadian citizenship?

Answer:
You never lost your Canadian citizenship unless you either renounced it or received a notification from the Canadian government telling you that you are no longer a Canadian citizen. I think you have dual citizenship and you should keep it that way because you have the best of both worlds with dual citizenship. I have dual American/Canadian citizenships (born in the USA and immigrated to Canada and then naturalized Canadian).
Look,, all you have to do is go to Canada, visit an American Embassy and tell them that you want to give up your American citizenship and from there on you could do want ever you want. Stay in Canada. Good luck, !!
I should still have your Canadian citizenship unless you have completed an application, signed by a judge, renouncing it. Under the 1977 Citizenship Act, a Canadian can acquire citizenship to a foreign country without losing Canadian citizenship. He would then have dual citizenship.
A lot of people have dual US and Canadian citizenships.
