I have a friend in USA, and I invited her on march 2005 to come to Indonesia?
Answer:
Assuming I am understanding what you are talking about, you want to find out why it is so hard for you to get a visa to come visit your friend in the US. Well if that is what you want to find out about – then allow me to explain a few things for you. It is not a breeze to come to the US, especially when you cannot provide proper reasons for coming. If you want to come and visit, what for – is it for just a visit and a visit to what? It can’t be just to see her. You have to have proper reasons because the INS looks at that and if they are not convinced that you are giving them the right reasons then they will not give you a visa.
A lot of people get visas, they say it just for a visit and then come to the US and never leave. The INS is working to reduce that.
Ummm... what?
Every country has their own procedures. It does not mean when we treated foreigner nicely in our country, we are allowed to enter their country without complying with their policies.
You have done the right thing, just keep do it. This is outcome we received due to inproper handling how to protect Indonesia from bad influences from outsiders such as conflict in poso and palu, how the police handles the bali bombers, the church bombers and etc (those who killed teenagers in Poso).
We may tell the world that although Indonesia has biggest muslim majority but we are not a terorist country.
We just need international assistance to capture those provocators in Indonesia and punish those involved in terorism activities heavily.
