How to find name of office where immigrant status was adjusted?

My father got his green card via the diversity lottery. He applied in his native country. He entered the US in New York City -- JFK airport -- where he gave his documents to immigration and there received his alien number. His card was then mailed to our home address where he resides with us. What would be considered the immigration office that granted him the alien number -- is there an office at JFK, is this the NYC district office, or the NYasylum center?
Thanks.

Answer:
The local USCIS office is located on 26 Federal Plaza (Broadway and Worth Street) in downtown Manhattan. If you need to inquire, make an appointment online via infopass through the USCIS website http://www.uscis.gov
No office really, JFK just sent the info to be processed for the card, he wasn't adjusted. what is it that you need? if in doubt say New York
