It's easy for an European to become U.S. resident?
Answer:
It depends on your personal information. If you are a trained individual in one of the positions in high demand you have a much better chance. See the American Emassy or Consulate in your area for complete requirements.
i do not think so but still you need to enter their site and read.
good luck
God bless you too
It's extremely easy. As long as you don't have a criminal record in the EU, just go to an embassy or consulate and see what the have to say.
Europeans should have no problem getting access to the US, as none of those countries have any real diplomatic issues with America.
The same US immigration laws apply to everybody: French, Spanish, Chilean, Cambodian, Iraqi. Here are the categories of immigrant visas that allow US residency:

and don't forget the DV Lottery: French and Spanish can play.

I think fewer come so it is possible it might be easier. Are they in the diversity lottery ( I think they are.) You could try that, or a job and a sponsor, but watch your dates and apply early when the visas/applications are available. I think April and October are key dates, but you should check the US Immigration Service web page.
Good luck!

no it is not easy...
you have to convince the consulat that you have something to offer, something the u.s. can profit from you.
you can't just walk on the consulat and ask for a green card.
you can try to enroll into the green card lottery (althought i think they might cancel that, too)... but other than that, it is a MESS
