If I divorce my wife, who is a resident, will she still get citizenship in the us?

Answer:
It depends if she is a PERMENANT resident.if she is a conditional resident, then she may have a problem...however in order to get a perm resident green card, all she has to do is show that she entered the marridge in good faith...if she can do that, she can get her Perm green card, then later on she can apply for her citizenship.
probably, the ball is already rolling for her. If there are any children involved then the answer is absolutely yes.
If she is a CONDITIONAL resident, you can request that she not be given permanent resident status. You will have to supply the divorce decree to do this. If she is already a PERMANENT resident, you are too late.

She may apply for citizenship after three years (usually) if you are a U.S. citizen who petitioned for her originally. Nobody is "given" citizenship in this case. She will have to apply for it.
They could decide your marriage was a sham and you could get time.
How long were you married?
does it matter?
Yes, if she is a legal resident she can do it on her own.
WHY NOT? YOU HAVE NO SAY IN WHETHER SHE CAN OR NOT AS LONG AS SHE'S LEGAL AND IN GOOD STANDING. SHE ONLY NEEDED YOU TO BE LEGAL, SHE DOESN'T NEED YOU TO BE A CITIZEN.
