How do I aquire Permanent Residance in Belize ?

I'm a German national, living in the U.S. I want to move to Belize, and stay.

Answer:
If you are planning on retiring here is a useful link http://www.belizeretirement.org...

There are the phone numbers for the Immigration & Nationality Departments:
Belize City 222-4620
Belmopan 822-2423 & 822-2611

The area code for the country of Belize is 501, then just dial the numbers above.

As far as moving to Belize. I recommend staying for an extended period of time before making it a permanent move. Living in Belize and visiting it are very very different. Living in Belize is not for everyone.

I hope you find this information helpful. If you know of anyone who just wants to travel to Belize, please help me by referring them to my website http://www.discoveringbelize.com...

Cheers, Alex
At the Belize National web page theye have all the rules ect...Half of the country came from somewhere else...call themselves ex-pats...Beautiful place !! Good luck...I want to go too.
The last time I checked, you could pay the government of Belize 50,000 dollars to purchase what they all an economic citizenship. This will give you the right to be a permanent resident.
Call the Belize Embassy. Simple!
