Did the large amount of immigrants benefit or hurt America businesses in the late 1800's?

Answer:
Controlled and legal immigration is great for the economy, that is as long as we don't let in freeloaders who will leach off the welfare state.
They came legally and they contributed to the economy. They did sneak in, they didn't steal social security numbers and they didn't demand government services.
it did a huge benefit i think they came with nothing and made something out of it and all the money stayed here unlike the ones we have now at lest the 1800 immigrants spoke English before they got off that ship
the lower class immigrants like my fellow irish worked for the smallest of wages in dangerous jobs like industry and such, we built the american dream as did our other counterparts
It benefited business: cheaper labor, willing to work under awful conditions, and increased the market for domestic goods (more consumers).
Immigration always helps business. It provides a large pool of desperate workers who will undercut the citizen workforce. It always lowers the wages and conditions of American workers. But it's real good for business owners.
LEGAL immigration helped in the late 1800s. Immigration was controlled.

It is a different world today and the ILLEGAL alien criminals are destroying America. They do not help in ANY way. The steal jobs from hard working citizens. They STEAL identities from citizens. They destroy our schools and health care system. They don't pay taxes! They even DEMAND rights they don't deserve.

Bottom line, we don't need them or want them. Deport ALL illegal alien criminals and jail the employers that hire them.
they didnt come and freeload and wave their countrys flag in our face
Yes the legal was good ,but now when do we hang bush for treason ? and don't treaten me with the F.B.I I dont care ,we need to hang the arrogant pig head ,lame duck bush guy. For TREASON
