Good question. I´m still asking myself why there are so many illegals in American prisons. They don´t have the right to a trial since they are not legal residents, so they should just be deported and their home government should carry out the appropriate punishment.
i agree.. its simple maths a child can figure out, but our government is to dumb to know things like this.
i always say, any persons who commit a crime above attempted murder/rape should be automatically executed. saves prison space, saves money, saves oxygen. i'm all for that idea, hell, i'll even start implementing it myself.
y even let them in the country its not just prison space they are taking up housing and jobs. ye they might have it hard but y should they come to our country and make life harder foe us Brit's

I think anyone who is seeking asylum, on indefinate leave to remain, or are illegal and whom choose to commit criminal acts (as it is a choice) should be deported - but beware you and I will be accused of being racist for saying this in this ridiculous society of ours.
All the bleeding heart liberals or illegals themselves on here will be in denial about the real issue: that a life of crime is a matter or choice and also that if you are a guest/visitor/asylum seeker that you should actually be behaving yourself if you want to have a better life in a different country.
Nothing racist about that at all - it is a matter of respect for the country and the people and it is just how I would expect to be treated at this point in our history if I were living as a guest in another country.
If we had the right to deport these people there would be a lot of poor lawyers including the PMs wife!!!
Umm, forriegn prisoners are kept in prison for punishment.
If I am attacked, raped, robbed, whatever, I want the perpertrator in prison, with his freedom denied, not put back on a plane for a trip home for his family to pick him up from the airport.
He can go back after he does his time.
Henry, don't lose your head over this. Tony has given them money to return, thousands of pounds and they do leave ..only for a holiday and then spread the word that we English are wonderful. Doesn't it make you feel hunky Dory?
Don't you wish government would treat you like this, what a wonderful place to live it would be!!! This is something the government won't let out to the public, did you know that the Thames valley police have secretly told their serving officers not to stop any people of Asian appearance on the motorways for road traffic offences because the paperwork would clog the system. Makes sense doesn't it?
They should be deported after they have done their time it my stop them from wanting to come back again. But I do take on your point about using up prison space also. The answer is more prisons.
