Should I try to marry my fiance in france or america?

I am trying to find out if I should go to france to marry my fiance then apply for her to come to america? Is that a cheaper solution? I was thinking of going there marrying her and then coming back to the states and apply a petition for her to come to america as a family member.

Also does anyone know if I can apply for a fee waiver for some of the applications in the states. By the way I was born and raised in the states and I also been with my lady for 4 yrs with proof of meeting.

Answer:
It depends, immigration frowns on bringing her here as a tourist and marrying her. Apply for the Fiance visa and go that route, I heard it's not too painful as long as she does not have a criminal background and passes the medical screening.
Doesn't matter where you marry her. It only matters where she is when you apply. If you want her here, apply for a fiance visa first, then get married here. If you apply for a fee waiver, your application will go to the bottom of the pile and they will get to it when they feel like it. Maybe never. Better to pay the fee. If you don't have $190 for the I-130, how you going to pay for a wedding? How you going to pay for a ticket to France? Get your pennies together, bud.
If she has a French citizenship, and you have a United States citizenship, she'll automatically become American citizenship through marriage. If that's what you're asking?
The quickest way would be for you to file the Petition for Alien Fiance (Form I-129) and then marry her once she´s in the US. It´s about a few months faster than the Petition for Alien Relative (Form I-130).

I don´t think you can apply for a fee waiver since you´re eventually going to have to prove how much money you make and that your fiance will not become a burden on society. It would look bad if you claim you can´t pay the fee, but you can support your fiance.
you need to marry her first to be able to sponsor her, you should marry her in France, because if you bring her to America and marry her, then sponser her which will take about a year, her visa will expire and she be here illegally.
Believe me you d better marry her in america I am now waiting for the i130 & the waiting procedure is soooooooooo stressful, you can't help it you re seprated from your half for a year or so.. best of luck
If you aren't going to do things LEGALLY, please, FRANCE. We don't want any more illegals here.

Don't listen to "alco19357" - he's WRONG. She doesn't get automatic citizenship when she marries you. She has to apply BEFORE coming here just like everyone else.
