How to know if the reentry application (i-131) is in process?



Answer:
You may be able to track it online at http://www.uscis.gov provided you have been given a tracking number. If not, you will still be able to get information on how to find out the status of your application by using the above link and typing I-131 in the search box in the top right corner.
If your application is received by the USICS, they will send you a Notice of Action ( or receipt) saying that they have received your application and your application is in process. It usually takes a month to get a Notice of Action from the USCIS.
