My wife doesn't live in the U.S and is not a citizen nor resident. Can she start building credit here in US?
Answer:
Bank of America would help you.
She can't build a credit history in the USA without a social security number.
Even if you added her as an authorized user on one of your credit cards and the card issuer agreed to also report in her name, they couldn't do it without a social security number.
Yes. Check with the Bank of America. They now issue credit cards to illegal aliens. I'm not kidding they really do.
No! If she comes here at this point in time, she would be an ILLEGAL alien criminal. It doesn't matter that you are a citizen, she isn't. She has to come here LEGALLY.
Of course there's BofA - they love the illegal alien criminals and don't give a crap about their account holders.
why should anyone answer a question from someone calling themselves ihatenegrosandpuertoricans?
She can't if she is not in the USA but just for your knowledge the American bank is giving credit card without social i don't think it will last because everyone is again.
Yeah, first start with Bank Of America, they give illegals and new people credit cards out the ying yang, and theres no waiting period, so go for it.
"why should anyone answer a question from someone calling themselves ihatenegrosandpuertoricans?"
LOL! Exactly. Then he changed his name. They are racist hypocrites.

Answer: Your wife better jump on that Bank of America scam, before they go out of business.
You can open up a credit card and give her an extention under her name... so you'll have your account and she'll get a credit card with her name on it, but it will be billed to you. If she doesn't pay for it, then you assume her financial liability.
I did that with my cousin before he had his residency, and now he's assuming my good credit... if you have bad credit, then it's not a good idea. Now my cousin gets his own credit inquaries and he no longer has an extention under my credit card.
She could also probably open up a secured credit card.... where you put up a deposit like $1000 as a backup and your credit line would be $1000, after like a year of good payments then they'll return that money to you. I'm not so sure you can open an unsecured credit line without a social security number... i think credit companies don't want to take those risks, where they're lending money to someone in a foreign country.
