Do you have to pay GreenCard fees to your sponsoring company if you resign?

If your company sponsors your Green Card Application and if you resign from it, do you have to pay your company the GC fees? And approximately how much are they? What if your LCA is ongoing?

Answer:
No, i dont think so.. but only because i kno this from experience with my brother.. depends on the company you are in and for how long. my brother was in a very high company for contractors.. they were mostly doing hotels and millionare houses.. He was sponsored and had to leave for personal reasons. and the company went through with it.. he didnt have to pay the fee, they went throught it all the way untill he got the GC .. so check with your company first what kind of options do you have and then go ahead with that because you dont want to resign and not be able to get your GC for a long time...
hope this works out for you...
If that is in your contract, you might. Some companies require repayment of relocation costs if someone doesn't stay at a job a certain length of time, and I can see where this might qualify as that. I don't think it is automatic, though. I think that has to be the deal.
