I am italian, how can i stay in the USA for more than 90 days as tourist?
Answer:
Hello Claudio!
Sounds like you're having way too much fun in America!
Here is the website for foreign visitors to the US regarding
obtaining VISAs in the United States (The Department of
State's website regarding travel):
http://www.unitedstatesvisas.gov...
If the purpose of your visit is strictly for tourist purposes and not to study or work, you could apply for an extension of your VISA.
The website above states:
"If you overstay on your nonimmigrant authorized stay in the U.S., your visa will be automatically voided. In this situation, you are required to reapply for a new non-immigrant visa, generally in your country of nationality."
If you want to extend your visit:
Visitors who wish to stay beyond the time indicated on their Form I-94 must contact the Department of Homeland Security’s Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services to request an application to extend status. The decision to grant or deny a request for extension of stay is made solely by the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services.
For more information about obtaining an extension, visit
the Department of Homeland Security’s, Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services website (Select How Do I Extend My Stay in the United States?"
