Why do I/other Americans, have to do things legally and illegals can live and do as illegally as they choose?

It's totally beyond me, Juan. I have been watching this situation for several years and it just seems to go from bad to worse. You keep thinking our government will SEE what's going on and how this is hurting poor, low and middle income Americans. There seems to be no one to talk to, no one to listen, no one to take you seriously. If we, who work and have jobs, do everything right, manage to pay our bills and have good health and insurance are having a hard time, can you imagine how someone who's job was outsourced, plant was closed, or was laid off is managing? Jobs are scarce for people with little skills. They are becoming homeless and goinginto poverty. It's not right for hardworking citizens who have worked hard all their lives to lose everything they've worked for due to our government selling us out to other countries, importing more poverty, costing those same poor Americans their tax money, when those same Americans might not even be eligible for assistance and NEED it. Illegal aliens get assistance we can't get, they don't pay taxes and drive without car insurance. If we didn't pay car insurance they'd be watching for US when we went out on the road. Justice, fairness has gone out the window.

They also are taking a good portion of the jobs away, because they are willing to work for less and they don't have to pay taxes.
Because we are heading to a point where law suits have taken over as the supreme law. It has nothing to do with illegals. If you are any minority and commit a crime, there will be a group coming out to support you. It could be living here illegally, trying to kill a cop, or killing your white ex-wife and her boyfriend.
Our officials are afraid to take action on anyone in this country because Quannell X or some other jerkoff will find some little loophole to sue the govt with. Or they will riot and the officials don't want that either (even though it is illegal as well). I think these individuals are just as bad as any middle eastern terrorist group.

Lack of concern has sent a message to some illegals that we do not have the means to control them. Keep in mind that some immigrants have some different laws to abide by. Illegals all ready do not abide by the law and should be punished. Some of their country's lack concern in these matters as well. I Although we cant feasibly reprimand some of these governments for their citizens actions. We should have the right to fine their citizens for deportation and imprisonment costs. An Idea like this may be a good deterrent for illegal immigrants.

That's a concern for many Americans. And it's not that we want our government to 'mean' to the illegals. However, I don't think asking them to do things the right way is racist or harmful.
Personally, I think the situation should be handled on a local level, or at least a state level. The Federal government can't possible micro-manage situations that range in intensity. Locally, folks know what sort of challenges they face and with a few guidelines should be allowed and expected to handle things.
For example, HUD housing block grants and regulations. The government slices off grant monies, assigns general guidelines, and leaves the rest up to the states. (Well, not that simplistically but you know what I mean).
I assume there's states that don't have a problem while other states are close to street wars. There's no reason to allow tensions to grow to this magnitude and put American citizens out like they're outsiders. Folks are more tolerant when they have more of a say in what happens in their own territory.
I agree, I have sacrificed my family and life to make ends meet, while I sit by and listen to others complain about their welfare services not doing enough for them. I pay childcare expenses out of pocket, while immigrants are here receiving food stamps, free education, yes, while being illegal(to the detriment of my children) over crowded schooling, free childcare and free health care, as I work out payment plans with my creditors. Until you have seen it firsthand, you can't understand why legal citizens , unable to spend the time with their families that those who receive benefits get, and get no assistance/breaks whatsoever are so disenchanted with the idea of allowing amnesty and drop anchor baby laws. What is so wrong with wanting to assure future earned benefits and capping the number of those allowed to stay? It's easy to spout if you haven't walked in our shoes or firsthand dealings with this growing problem. This is not racism, it's a very real concern.

Where have you been? In a vacuum? They are special. They don't pay taxes, they get free medical, they don't have to pay for car insurance, registration, get a drivers license.....the list goes on and on. Call your senator, but he won't listen. His ears are plugged with corporate money.

Someone else who feels the same way I do. My aunt and her family waited 14 YEARS to LEGALLY come into America and they still don't have much of the financial aid they need to survive, while some illegal immigrant woman comes in, has a baby, and lives off the govt. just like that. It makes me sick that these same immigrants march around L.A. protesting more rights for them and convince the U.S. govt that they are "special". They constantly harass the govt. about natural rights and whatever. Yeah, the right get away with doing illegal acts! In my opinion, they all NEED to be deported!
The secert is if you have a picture of Mexican flag as a license plate the police will be afraid to pull you over due to illegal aliens lying and saying the police asked them about their immigration status.
We had a family in Utah hit by drunk illegal. 3 of the family members died, one may be paralyzed. What needs to happen is this family sue the federal government for failure to enforce it's laws and putting citizens at risk. The suit won't succeed because sovereign immunity, but who knows..the ACLU has certainly won for the criminal illegals..perhaps it is time for the pendulum to swing back in favor for those who carry the financial burden...we the American People.
It will create a lot of negative media for the illegals and that is the best reason for filing the suits.

Sorry about that. Anyway, your question is one that I will never understand. How is it that I, a U.S. citizen, who pays taxes, has to pay for medicare, put money into social security (which the Mexicans will suck dry before I will ever get payments), have to pay for my hospital/doctor visits, have to have insurance, and obeys the laws have less rights than an illegal? It makes absolutely no sense to me. Congress doesn't care because most of them are so rich, they don't give a crap about the real people who work hard. My brother and his wife had a baby two weeks ago and when I went to see them, the hospital was infested with Mexicans. The nurse there said that most of them just had the sniffles and came in to get a free check up and free medicine. Because they were illegal, they didn't pay a single cent. This immigration situation infuriates me.
