My parents were born in Canada when Canada was still extremely colonial (the early 30's) and very proud of that fact - When I was born we (the Cdn government) had gotten around to half completing the constitutional powers the UK gave us 100 years ago to make us a full fledged nation but no one ever felt an urgency to this until 1982 when we got a constitution of our own Up until then we used the British North America Act passed in 1867 and signed by Queen Victoria .
So my parents were technically British subjects (born prior to 1962 in Canada) and I am a Canadian Canadian , born after 1962.
Can I apply for any sort of status ? If so and I did get it
how would people in the UK treat or accept me if I moved there?
