What does it mean when my PERM/LCP has been certified by the DOL?

Is this a guarantee that I will be granted a greencard sooner or later?

Answer:
It means that Department of Labor has agreed with the employer that for the position offered, the employer, after test of labor market, could not find a willing, able and ready US worker.

It also means that one of the three steps required for you to get permanent residency has been completed. You still have to go through two more, namely: 1. Filing of immigrant visa petition by employer, and 2. Filing of adjustment of status by you.

At this time, there are no guarantees. What will get you guarantee is a long answer- too broad to answer here.
that just means the Labor Department approved your petition so now your in the 8 year waiting line...and it doesnt guarantee that youll get a green card by any means...you just got to hope that you filled out everything correctly and that your sponsor doesnt run off on you over the wait.
