Me personally, the Zvisa stinks for those that have been here for 5yrs or more and have been paying their taxes on the W-7 ITIN card.(look it up - also go to the IRS website on statistics and the US Census bureau site) They already paid their fines by paying taxes with the numbers but not receiving any of the benefits like being eligible for health benefits, social security and pension plans, bank accounts, and the most stupid thing they came up with was not allowing them to have a drivers license. They are not going to stop driving - but if I was making political statements while I was an elected official, about deporting illegal aliens how would I go about finding them? Duuuh, look up their current drivers license number - SS# aren't good - but DL'S are kept up to date. Now, that they have taken the DL's away they have increased your insurance rates by at least 20% or more by having more unlicensed/ uninsured or unexperienced drivers on the road. Yes that means your rates will increase! Thanks elected officials. They only promised to keep taxes low - not your consumed goods.
Sometimes I don't believe our elected officials think before they do things
Pro Immigration reform - the criteria should be as follows
5yrs or more with clean criminal background checks - proof of correct taxes paid for more than 3yrs (wave the fines - they have already paid their fair share)
Continuous work history and decent credit history. ( If I had loaned someone money I sure would rather have them stay to pay the debt instead of pushing it off on to the rest of the consumers in America) Do your homework before making a decision and always write to your local, state, and federally elected officials about your concerns.
Be Politically Involved - Don't worry about beling "politically correct" LOL
