What would you as an American have to lose, to DO a physical act that would ...?
The loss of a loved one to drunk driving? A friend or family killed by a Illegal invader? Loss of your job? What would people need to lose before they start getting physical?
Answer:
We are very involved in fighting illegal presence in our nation.
We spend a lot of money, send hand-delivered letters to our entire congressional membership, put large, informative ads in our county newspaper and donate to the organizations fighting this invasion...
I was assaulted while watching the illegal rally May 1. My husband and I were horrified as we watched 700 people chanting "AZTLAN" over and over for about five minutes.
It is clear these criminals are motivated by great anger and fear. This isn't about the price of tomatoes, it is about saving the financial infrastructure of our country......if they don't leave, we will collapse under the financial weight.
I've written letters.. I'm a military spouse.. I defend my country and views on here.. what else do you want?
Hey, if someone spills my beer, that's it.
Fortunately I live in Florida and just the "reasonable" fear of imminent harm or death from someone gives me the right to be "physical" and defend myself using deadly force if I feel the need and I would not hesitate to use it
I'm European so I couldn't think as an American even if I tried. The public education system in the US has given Americans the unique ability to speak without activating their brains at all.
National strike. If 1/3 of us stop going to work, it all grinds to a halt.
As a public school teacher, I have written, emailed, and called my representatives at the state and federal level on numerous occasions.
I also have a friend from high school that is on death row and I have written letters to them on his behalf also. The responses are frustrating because they feel like they are a general letter that an aide signed, but I keep trying for our future. :)
This is just my opinion, but only an intellectually challenged person would believe that "getting physical" could or would effect positive change. Violence begets violence. In answer to your question, nothing would make me try to resolve a problem by getting physical unless it was to defend myself against someone who was physically attacking me.
I just lost a loved one Nov. 2006 to a drunk driver and he was a Native American, not an illegal.Do you only think illegals do these horrible things?
I lost my father due to a misdiagnosed medical condition, I guess I could have gone after his Physician with a machine gun but to what end, it wouldn't have changed the outcome. An over reaction to distaste for the color of someones skin will not change the natural course of things either.
