This was ignorant then and now.Why must we continue to accept the unwanted,un and under educated people that their own country's discard ? This nation is drowning in its own stupidity.Whats wrong with wanting educated,self supporting immigrants with a degree or profession ? Why must we cater to the poverty stricken and unskilled ? I'm not saying to not help theses people ,but lets help them to live a better life in their own country.
I agree immigration reform is needed.It is needed to raise the bar,the standard on all legal immigrants. We as a nation can only accept so many poor people before we too become just as poor as the nation they left.
I have no desire to lower my own standard of living in order to better a immigrants standard of living. Illegal aliens by law have no right to even be here so I wont go into that right now.
it should have been repelled long ago. immigrants from any European Scandinavian or white populated country do not apply. Kennedy wanted uneducated third world countries to populate this country. ever other country you had to bring in value, brains ,financial or a sponsor. yet the Irish voters kept returning him to office. it stop large flow Irish citizenship.
