Border agent shoots, kills man crossing near Douglas A U.S. Border Patrol agent shot and killed a man believed to be an illegal entrant during a fight Friday afternoon west of Douglas, an official said.
Few details were available about the officer-involved shooting — the first by a Tucson Sector agent this fiscal year, said Rob Daniels, a spokesman for the agency.
Just after 3 p.m., the agent was responding to a call about a group of seven people who were crossing the desert southeast of the Paul Spur Lime plant, west of Douglas and south of Arizona 80, Daniels said.

Not unless doing your job is illegal. I send him my personal gratitude for stopping seven criminals from getting here, one permanently.
I believe he should be pardoned for he is protecting our borders. Period. They will learn to STOP illegally crossing our borders if our border agents are allowed to kill them protecting themselves. It needs to stop. How many ILLEGALS or TRAITORS DISRESPECTFULLY carried mexican flags through our country last summer.
Our very own AMERICAN PEOPLE did not have the courage, the guts, to say, we should march with AMERICAN FLAGS FOR AMERICA !!
Those that carried the WRONG flag are cowards, and have NO intentions of allegiance to OUR people or OUR country, just their own .
