As far as I know you can only obtain a visa outside the USA, inside the usa you can extend or change status but you cannot ask for a new visa.
Go to your country of origin and apply for a new one.
I don't know but you could try to get a work permit. I mean that is if you want to stay here. Because if you go out of the country now, you can't come back. I have a friend with a similar problem. He figured it's better to go back to school because even though he got his work permit he still had trouble getting a job even though the guy is supersmart. If you leave, you won't be able to come back or as least that's what i've been told.

From my understanding, this is only a document that allows you to reside in the US while going to an educational insitution within the US; it is not document that allows you to travel the world. I'm not really sure if you are meaning, "I can't go home." I assume that you very well can! Do you have a passport from your home country? Passports are usually the documents that are used withing traveling from one country to another. This document has to be obtained through your embassy or department of state, etc. If you have any questions in regard to your US Student visa, there is contact information on the link that I provided. If you can't go home, for whatever reason, contact your country's embassy, here in the U.S. If you want to travel to another country, you will have to look to your Embassy as well, they should provide you with the information that you need to obtain in order for you to travel to other countries other than you home country.
