I am tired of people saying my Mexican Goverment is corrupt?
ps. Also Mexico is poorer not because of corruption in which all countries goverment are but because Mexico has less resources than the USA. I wonder why? wonder who stole the money now.

The US did not steal any land from mexico. They lost Texas in 1835, when Texas fought for and WON independance from Mexico. On February 2, 1848, The Treaty of Guadeloupe Hidalgo was signed when General Winfield Scott siezed Mexico City from former President and General Santa Ana. The treaty was later ratified by both the U.S. and Mexican Congresses. The treaty called for the annexation of the northern portions of Mexico to the United States. In return, the U.S. agreed to pay $15 million to Mexico as compensation for the seized territory.

Funny you should say that, considering government owned PEMEX is the top monetary contributor to your economy, followed closely in second place by money sent home from illegals in my country. So, not only is our economy drained by the money sent home, the health care, education, social services, welfare, etc., but your economy is propped up by it. Sure, USA more or less "stole" land from Spain, but they weren't really doing much with it anyway, were corrupt and abusive then, and couldn't bring effective government to bear on those lands. I'm pretty much against imperialism, but really, Spain and the local Mexican government were pretty much asking for someone to come in and take control.

yes , we do. Most mexicans come to the united states to work, to have a better life with more opportunities. In california underage teenagers and young people are crossing over INTO mexico to get drugs and get drunk.Its easier and cheaper. You decide which is more morally correct.

Fact~ My husband was born and raised in Mexico City until he was 17, when he came to the USA. His father sent him here for a better life. My husband even tells me that the government is corrupt and the law enforcement. All they care about is money, pay them some money they'll let you get away with just about anything.
Fact~ My in laws were once pulled over by the police in Mexico and were peppered sprayed and robbed of their money and jewelry.
I have asked my husband if things would change if their was a better/new President and he says "No, it will always be that way".
If Mexico's government would stop being so greedy and help the people with programs to get on their feet and with work then there wouldn't be so many poor people living in Mexico.
Fact~The USA never stole any jobs from Mexico, they actually have to send jobs to Mexico.
