We don't really need a fence, just let the national guard watch our borders and send everyone caught crossing the border to Africa. There are other countries besides this one they can go to. We are already full of illegal immigrants and don't even want the ones that are here. Send them all to some other country and they can find jobs there. I'm sure Africa is full of jobs Africans don't want to do. From what I hear there aren't that many jobs here us Americans don't want. Most of us just want a job that pays enough to support our families.This isn't about jobs we don't want it is about companies that don't want to pay a fair wage.

As it stands right now, The fence bill has passed, and has been funded so that 700 miles of fence are supposed to be built.
That being said only about 12 miles have been built and although it was supposed to be a double fence like the San Diego Tijuana border it is only single.
And this new 'Comprehensive' Bill that they are trying to stuff down our throats, will cut the amount they are legally supposed to build to just 300, ( this is is supposed to prove they are going to be tough on enforcement , because they cut the amount mandated by law to half of what was previously mandated by law.) .
So when push comes to shove, once this bill is passes (God help us if it is) there will be some new emergency issue that will suddenly appear and the money and resources to build the fence will be rerouted and this fence in the middle of nowhere will be touted as the example of how a fence won't work.
American workers that's who.
How about the American people. If it's not built by government contract, it'll be strong. If the government hires someone to build it, they will overcharge, take forever, and use substandard materials so that they will be awarded the job of repairing the fence over the years.
We need volunteers now. We need to get an extremely large group of people together and show the government and President Snake Eyes that we are serious. Companies can donate funds, materials, equipment, etc. This people of this great country will make sure the border is secure even if the government does not.
Every legal U.S. citizen in the southwest should be willing to donate their time. One day each would get it accomplished. If everyone signed up for one day of labor, illegals would have a tougher time walking over the border. Their neighborhoods would be safer, their children un-afraid to leave the house at night. ICE would be more effective once the fence is built because they would only need to deal with the illegals already here and not the thousands who are crossing the border.
